hello i need the flash for a w380 cid 52 fido phone. i want ti derand but flash file is not available does anyone have it if not can i convrt to cid53 if yes how?

Try posting a log of connecting to the phone. It must be CID53 as CID52 files do not exist.

Thats what I thought but I have a cid 52 w350i on hand and I'm having trouble removing the phone lock code .

As you can see its a cid 52 !

I have also tried the S.E.U.T. and that tels me that "no updates are available for this phone "

I hgave tried to connect to ultimate unlocker but whatever model I try the connection fails .
Any one any Ideas ?
I think that I need to update the phone to cid 53 but to do that I need to connect to this tool ( I only have cruiser on hand )
I am willing to try any thing
I have never seen a cid 52 w350 or 380 can someone suggest a solution .

it´s CID53 and you have to use DCU-60 cable.

for flashing use A1 Java Unlocker 1.10.

I've used this firmware before on other unlocks .
If I try unlocker v.1.11 the prgram flashes the phone but the program hangs when it tries to upload the fs . Asthe program has hung I cannot post a log .
I only want to read or remove the phone unlock code .

Hello Steve I never did get the Fido w380 to flash but i did unlock it using a1 fast unlocker. I got a Rogers w350a today had cid52 in cruiser looked and no flash files in support area, so i used the generic cid53 file and america 2 cid53 file flashed it with cruiser using the dcu60 cable thenunlocked it with a1 fast unlocker with dcu60 cable. Next time i get a Fido w380 cid 52 i will try this method also, I wonder if cruiser is somehow is reading these as cid52 when actually they are cid53.I hope it helps you.

This means the phone CID is 53

This means the OTP CID is 52

All W350 and W380 phones have phone CID of 53. The phone CID is the important one when choosing flash files not the OTP CID.

I've flashed the phone using cruiser 13.2 successfully , although at the end the program was unable to turn the phone off or disconnect . When I disconnected the cable the program crashed .
