Thumbs up How to boot an unbootable P900?

This problem may arise after flashing an original P910 AVR flash which has not been specially prepared for uploading into a P900 phone. The problem will not occur if you disable the Relock RSA option before flashing.

The solution is to use a testpoint. There is no software-only way because of a CID-mismatch. Just connect the testpoint to GND while booting the phone and wait until Cruiser finishes bypassing boot authority check. Then disconnect it.

This testpoint is directly connected to the RST# flash pin. It is separated from the CPU via a 15K resistor.
By grounding DATA[0] or by using OE# or CE# pins you risk AVR CPU damage.

Do you have any other solution?

You should not flash P910i AVR to P900 though!! The only P910i image you should be flashing is the patched one Lead made for the P900->P910 conversion.

Or did I misunderstand your post?

Tim, I think he was saying that someone else ruined the phone by flashing it with P910i flashes and it will be brought to him tomorrow for repair...

or did I misunderstand?
