how can i make t226 work Gsm900/1800 - GSM-Forum

i have sony ericson t226 with serial 010xxxxxxxxxxxx and no network so i want to make it to work in Gsm900/1800

i know it is hard and soft proble and i will convert it

so i want to know how can i convert it with hardware and software

please Mr Lead give me the solution

Change mainboard for T230/T290 one.
That's the only solution I know.

i got the solution
i converted the phone to t230 and create new security zone and activate the GSM900, GSM1800 band
it was very easy by cruiser
i exchnged chips from dead phone t230 like this picture

thanks bro. for this sulution, i jas got conveert my fon t226 in to t230

flash it with t230 with UFS(select t230)..only with mcu, after that InitSecBlock(unlock). Then Jumper the filter(black like PA). thats it.

just change ant switch from another set(t230) and flash with corresponding files+create security zone tick 900 in cruiser before creating S zone thats it for 900 mhz activation in 226 and ----for 1800 u need to make some more minor changes ill upload pics after some time --100% sucess tested in many pieces---cpukiller
