I have just bought a cruiser and have been trying to install the dongle for almost 10 hours by now.

I just want to confirm when you insert the dongle into the usb will it prompt found new hardware in your computer, because my will not. only the cable when i put into the usb it will prompt me found new hardware but never the dongle.

I just wanted to confirm that this dongle is faulty so that i can exchange it.

The dongle asks for a driver, unless you already had installed another device using the same kind of protection.

The dongle did not ask me for anything. I have jaf which uses pkey. will it affect the dongle.

When you open the software you have a row of ports on the top is one yellow.
also turn your speakers up does it ping when dongle is inserted..

The row of ports cannot be highlighted and below it say box not connected sn ????? and everytime i put in the dongle it does not ping only the cable will ping.

have u gone into settings in cruiser and pointed to the com port that is highlighted for cruiser ???? , maybe you are picking up USB port above 16 ?? if these are in order you will have to uninstal jaf, then install cruiser, oh dear then reinstall jaf all should be ok

I have even been to egate site to download the lastest version of egate 3.0.6 and it still does not work. I have also downloaded all avaliable updates for my windows as well.

Try to go on settings and then authentication and change the E-GATE Smart Card Reader to "axalto e-gate1"!

I have uninstall jaf and it still does not work. It is still not reading the dongle it does not ping. I open the software and its the same thing box not found sn?????

What shall i do next??

Bauzito,

How about if i dont have Axalto e-gate1 on menu?
I tried with 10.43 and 11.05 but only Shows -Default- Option. If i select, nothing appear, just Default.

Tried on another computer but still the same.

The drivers are installed correctly... Can anyone point me pls?
