First of all, upgrade to v8.00

There's a lot of bug fixes in v7.x->v8 that might help you.

Also check that the battery is fully charged.

nafg: I read about this somewhere, now I can't find it again.
There is some reason that the applet is turning the phone off, but I've search the forum for the last 10 minutes and I can't find it.

If the phone's dead already, you could try recovering the phone's flash certificate and see if that helps.

Does Cruiser report what OTP CID the phone is?

When attached in Recovery Mode, click on "Repair Certificate"

Then see if you can attach to the phone in normal mode.

Nope, I'm out of ideas.
I think the problem is a hardware one, the applet shuts down when it can't the flash chip. But the fact you can repair certificate alright would contradict that.

So no, no idea I'm sorry.
