1 - Attach phone.
2 - Unlock RSA.
3 - Attach phone.
4 - Replace certificate by BROWN.
5 - Attach phone.
6 - Direct Unlock (if your phone was previously locked to network)
7 - Attach phone.
8 - Disable OTP IMEI check.
9 - fill the IMEI field with desired IMEI.
10 - Write GDFS IMEI.
11 - Turn off phone.
All Done!

Is it the same procedure for all Sony Ericsson or is it different with each phone?

no...for old SE (like T610, T230, T290i) you must to flash main AVR file ticking the "disable OTP IMEI check" option. After flash AVR you do "rebuild security zone" filling the new desired IMEI number. For some new DB2010 SE (like Z530i, W810i) Cruiser does not provide support for IMEI change yet. For DB2020 phones no way!

these steps r not working polz tell uss how it will change whenever i try to dis i do every thing in the end when i put the sim it say 2 me "insert correct simcard" when i direct unlock it its old imei comes
now wat do u have v have to do sorry for the good english
