K300i testpoint covered with black glue

I am trying to re-flash a faulty K300i, locked to Vodafone. This is my first time with Cruiser.
The testpoint is covered with black glue. What do I use to remove it without damaging the track?

When I tried to read flash it kept coming up with errors, then I saw a picture of the testpoints for K300 and assumed I needed to do a testpoint procedure. I think it says so in the instructions somewhere.

This is my first time with Cruiser. The instructions seem to be for older versions. They refer to cables that need batteries. I don't have any cables that need batteries. I have an SE-TOOL.

So I am winging it as I go along.

I tried to flash phone. It now appears dead. Cruiser just hangs on powering up phone.

I can't access Cruiser at the moment. I just get message The time for this version has expired. I have only just bought it.

Upgraded to V10.
Still get message:

System diagnostics passed.
Version 10.00 ready!

[ --- Attach to Phone --- ]
Connecting via UC-10 Universal Cable...
Powering on the phone...

Just hangs there. Goes no further.

I tried flashing ARM and full flash after downgrading to brown. I don't really know what I am doing. I think I flashed with the wrong files.

Help!!!!!!

Try boot in recovery mode with exact cid, I think cid 36. After repair certificate. If not connect you must do tp.

I left K300i on charge all day, unplugged everything, rebooted, tried the above advice, kindly submitted by SNSOFTKILLER, and, as if by magic, got the following:

System diagnostics passed.
Version 10.00 ready!

[ --- Attach to Phone --- ]
Connecting via UC-10 Universal Cable...
Powering on the phone...
Baseband chip ID: 0x8000
Protocol version: 3.1
Baudrate = 460800Bd
Trying CID36 recovery applet...
Sending applet prologue...
Sending applet body...
Time spent entering bootstrap: 1s
Initializing phone hardware...
Applet ID: 041213 1452 MATCXC1326739_COMPACTCERTLOADER R2L
Flash manufacturer: Intel
Flash ID: 0x890D
OTP Security Level: 1 (Retail)
OTP CID: 36
Analyzing RSA protection...
RSA protection is normal.
Phone hardware initialized OK

[ --- Repair Certificate --- ]
Preparing to program flash...
Programming flash...
Time: 00:00:01
Flash process done.

Cruiser displays only Primary and Security RSA tabs.

Please can someone tell me what to do next. This is my first attempt at using Cruiser.

Thank you for advice.

After several hours of experimentation I have re-flashed phone back to life. I performed too many operations to remember exactly how it happened.

New problem 1:

Put sim in (I tried Vodafone, O2 and T-mobile), phone says 'insert correct sim'

I tried: 'Direct unlock' and 'read codes'

get the following:

[ --- Direct Unlock --- ]
Reading security zone...
Phone automatically detached.

[ --- Read Codes --- ]
Calculating codes...
Reading security zone...
Phone automatically detached.

Plus some error messages in red underneath.

Phone still won't accpt sim cards.

New problem 2: When phone is turned off manually it cannot be turned back on again without remove/ replace battery routine.

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just notice th GDFS IMEI has a 0 on the end.

The phone IMEI at the bottom of display window has a 9 on the end.

Does this matter?
