K610i could not start GDFS service - GSM-Forum

K610i CID52 doesn't turn on after extracting the battery - we're all familiar with this erom issue - the red led's blinking on each try to power it on. However, the following takes place when i try to revive it - it connects to cruiser only in recovery mode (while pressing 2+5 and rsa boot "normal"), on "rsa remove" fails with an error "could not start GDFS service".. The battery's fully charged, it does allow arm+fs flashing but fails on "customize FS" with the same error - "could not start gdfs service". Does anyone has ever encountered anything of a sort? Or may be our support is familiar with this subject?

I saw some posts here in this regard but so far no real solution except for one dude who suggested to replace the flash ic.. well, if i was a masochist i'd definitely go for it..
