K700 CID36 how to convert CID29 ?? Lead - GSM-Forum

Dear Lead and Cruiser team..

I ahave K700 with latest software R2AT003 CID36

Can you decribe is step by step how to flash this phone to CID29
( Downgrade ) ?

@rjsoo7: Attach to the phone with "Force RSA Recovery Mode" selected.

Flash the file Recovery_FKS_Series_Red29.crec to the phone, it's available here.

Turn off the phone.

I think that's all you need to do, the phone should still power on and be usable, but also be able to be attached and unlocked/flashed etc.

If not (ie you can't power it on or it gives errors) just follow these steps also:

Untick the "Force RSA Recovery Mode" option, then attach the phone.

Flash the phone as normal with files from here (Link removed, it was wrong - muppet)

Sorry I made a mistake (stupid muppet!)

Please use the K700 flash files found here instead, they are a later version than the one I linked in the post above.
