K700i will not power up - GSM-Forum

I have cruiser 10.00 and 2x K700i handsets.

The first handset connects to cruiser perfect, so I know hardware is working

The second will not I get:

[ --- Attach to Phone --- ]
Connecting via UC-10 Universal Cable
Powering on the phone ...

then nothing

battery only half charged, so I've tried a full charged battery too
I've tried tappng the power button, but the phone boots normally
I've tried powering down the phone, but it just reboots instead and loads normally
I've cleaned the contacts on the bottom several times
I've tried connecting the cable, then connecting, then inserting battery
I've tried inserting batter, connecting, then connecting cable
I've tried changing the boot type to : recovery boot autodetect CID
I've specified phone type as K700i
I'm limited baudrate to 115200 Bd
I've tried several combinations of the above

What can I do now? This is really frustrating

Just to let people know, I've had a private message and was told to dismantle the phone and clean contacts again with a toothbrush. I did this using a toothbrush and vodka - and now working
