Member: 1647 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | K800i brown prototype ... shall I try to flash? I have a K800i proto with firmware R1AA049 . I have thought about an firmwareupgrade but the last Cruiser versions always said: NO, old EROM, low CID, wrong colour etc. Now I tested 12.10 and I get the following log: [ --- Attach to Phone --- ] Connecting via Fighter USB Cable... Powering on the phone... Baseband chip ID: 0x9900 Protocol version: 3.1 Baudrate = 460800Bd Booting via ROM... Trying CID52 recovery applet... Sending applet prologue... Sending applet body... Time spent entering bootstrap: 2s Initializing phone hardware... Applet ID: 061220 1711 NPA4_CXC1329130_DB2020_... Flash manufacturer: ST Microelectronics Flash ID: 0x2019 OTP Security Level: 0 (Developer) OTP CID: 36 Phone CID: 49 Phone color: Brown Sending applet... Applet ID: 060919 0941 HANCXC1329134_DB2020_PR... Analyzing configuration... Reading primary certificate... Primary certificate CID: 49 Primary certificate color: Brown Reading secondary certificate... Secondary certificate CID: 29 Secondary certificate color: Brown GDFS configuration found. OSE configuration found. TestProgram configuration not found. Analysing GDFS... Done. Phone hardware initialized OK --------------- NO message about any problems and flashing on my own risk etc. But before I give it a try, I would ask for your opinion about a firmware upgrade with these facts. Which firmware should I try? CID 49, 51, 52 ? Shall I try to change certificate colour before? Thanks for answers. |

sounds a bit strange and I have to be very concentrated before doing it and looking for the right files. I hope Mizar reads this topic and tells me the right way. (BTW. @Mizar ... still waiting for a PM-reply Any chance to get the needed reply?) | |
