K800i CID_52 "Insert correct sim card" - GSM-Forum

Hello,
I am a owner of the cruiser plus 2 and am having a problem

. I got this K800i and needed to unlock it. When I connected it to the cruiser it said it was a CID_49 and recommended to upgrade. I unlocked the RSA, 1 log. I then modified it from CID_49 to CID_52, another log. I then flashed the phone's ARM and FS with the R1KG001 files. I then customised the FS, 1 log

. I then tried to insert a sim and was told to "Insert correct sim card". Now when the phone is connected, its not giving the option to "Direct Unlock" nor read Codes and my setting are through the server connection. When I tried the "secret sequence" under the service info, the network was still locked

. Could anyone tell me if they had the same problem and how could I get this repaired. This is costing me too many logs. Should I buy SE tools?

you should not have upgraded to cid 52, only to cid 51
52 cannot be unlocked with cruiser

when you upgraded cid to 52 forget about unlock i hope i'm wrong but afraid you made mistake doing this ( modified to 52)

You are dealing with SEMC and you dont know that our headache for us is CID 52 unlock ? From what planet are you from ?
Now only davinci or ubbox is your solution and believe me its cost not 3 pennys.

If you would have unlocked rsa, flash main, flash raw, direct unlock, customise fs, you would have only used ONE LOG. Then wait until cid52 is more supported before going up. Now your stuck until 52 is more supported unless you use different box.
Read the manual m8 its explained in there about updating to CID52, and also how to unlock & flash 49/51 all for 1 Log.

you just need to unlock the rsa then flash your phone after phone flashing before you customise your phone do unlock and then customise your phone it will be ok 100% with this method you lost just one log
