@Lead or anyone else with info about conversion...

Hi Lead

I know you are very busy nowadays but I just want to ask...

I saw in this thread (Upgrade your T65 to T68? YES....but...) that you wrote :

possible upgrades:

GA318 to GH388 (display change required, etc)
GA628 to GH688 (display change required, etc)
GF788 to GF788e
S868 to SH888 (insertion of IrDA module required)
A1018 add tetris
T10 to T18
R380s to R380e
A2618 to A2628 (unprotection of OTP necessary, etc)
T20 to T29 (unprotection of OTP necessary)
T66 to T600 (ringer will stop working)
T68m to T68i

and few more...

Could you (or anyone else) please explain how I make unprotection of OTP area on the T20 so it can be upgraded to T29 ?

Or how the total conversion T20 to T29 is made ?

Best regards Daniel

I do not think Lead will do this because the support he is working on is for the new ARM-phones.

@MG77

Sorry but I dont need to hear you say he wont do it....

This has been possible for years to do if you look in the old thread...

I just want to know how you do it, which files to use, maybe just flash T29 into T20 ?
Both GDFS and AVR ?

Best regards Daniel

no 'voice labels', 'voice control', etc.
Microphone works - it's hardware...

@Legas thank you for answering.

My problem is that my 2 T20 boards are emty boards.
And Lead wrote something about unprotecting OTP area that seems interesting...
Maybe then its possible to do something about those T20 boards ?

Don't forget - it's just my suggession, I have no abbilities 2 try it! I Have 1 T20 with protected OTP and don't know how to unprotect...

@Legas

Hmm yes you might be correct....it was only testprogram before inside.
I tried to program with signalsoftware but of course I need to make some changes in GDFS....
But maybe if I use T29 GDFS it will work okay ?
The problem might be correct security area....
I have a working T29 here too, maybe I can make clones out of it ?

@Lead sorry for disturbing you but I have to ask about a old post from you that I found today

T20s upgradet to T29(T20e)

Did you ever released that soft you talked about there ?
If not maybe it is still possible to implement in later cruiser verison 9.70 or so ?

It would make me very happy...

Thanks for good service from you !!
