Lead, Help! p910 - GSM-Forum

Hi,master
I have a prob using the SEUS service after flashing a p910i into p910c with error message "There is currently no service for devices belonging to your operator".But a authentic p910c can.
Even if I flash it into a p910i apac3, it still display this message.

I wonder if I did something wrong or just sonyericsson did some tricks....

BTW, Can u upload the newest rom files 4 chinese version(should be R4A02 PDA)?Thx

Well, I'm not Lead, but I'm sure I can probably help you anyway.

Currently the SE Online Update service appears to be having issues, so it might just be because of that you're getting this error message.
I would wait a couple of weeks and see if it's working, if not post back here (in this thread)

I think a few of us are waiting for updated files in the SmartPhone area... But they're very busy working on other things at the moment.

I DO think it's something hidden in GDFS conduct this issue, cos I change the special area in K700's GDFS and I can flash a K700i into any language including brand or unbranded version even k700c through SEUS with no prob, think it's a easy trick....

When you flash the phone, what files are you flashing to it?
Phone Part, Symbian part and CDA part?

This is the important part. I asked him about this before and he said CDA is not the problem.

The phone must have the CDA of P910c if it is flashed as such. Then it will qualify for flashes from there. If that does not work, you must try different CDA numbers to find one that will.

@evan_silbert: True, if CDA image was flashed then you should be able to run online update.

Does anyone know if Online Update does check IMEI number? Some people say it does, others say it doesn't. I guess we'll never know unless we find a SE employee who can tell us in detail...

And I find no IMEI check 4 s700/k700, cos i just rewrite the CDA number and SEUS reflash the phone into any CDA I desired
BTW, why p900->908 Can use SEUS without any problems....?
