Leaving Cruiser dongle connected ??

Had my Cruiser for the last 6 - 8 months, Normally once I have used it I normally disconnect the donle and lead until next use..
Somebody on one of the forums said it was best to leave it connected to the PC permantly, while another user said its best to disconnect it when not in use, personally I think its proberly better to disconnect,
what does everybody do ?
what does the team who created it suggest ?
Proberly not much difference but always best to go with the majority

Thanks all

I usually leave mine in BUT always make sure its not in when I turn my pc on as Ive read here that some boxes get damaged, and as Cruiser is my most cherrished possession I dont take any chances

lol.. connected/not connected makes absolutely no difference... Do you disconnect your USB-mouse everytime you are not using it? It's the same thing, unless the USB-dongle is really poor quality.

@BlickBox: Well said. You're not going to do your Cruiser dongle any damage leaving it plugged in. I think you're more likely to do it damage by unplugging and plugging it in all the time (wear and tear)

Two points I'd like to make on your reply.
Firstly, do you have a smart card in your mouse? I wouldnt think so, so entirely different scenario.
Secondly, most card reader/writers (multi card readers) suggest you dont leave cards in (memory cards) when switching on.

If one has enough USB ports on the PC, is it safe to leave dongle always connected? I need a serious reply.
regards

i disconnect my dongle every time , but just because i use it on my Notebook the most time :-)

if you have a normal pc with enough free ports i would leave it connected.
