Which models are 100% supported without the use of TP ?

Hi everyone

I was wandering if someone could which models can be unlocked and flashed without the use of TP. I understand that not all hardware-versions of all CID 49 models are supported.

K600/K608: Not all of these are supported without using TP. Is there anyway to tell just by checking the software on the phone wheither TP is need or not?
There are 3 or 4 different TP's for K608. How do you know which one to use ?
W550: Are all versions of W550i supported without the use of TP ?
W600: Are all versions of W600i supported without the use of TP ?
V600: Are all versions of V600 supported without the use of TP ?
W900: All versions needs TP - right ?

I'm looking foreward to your answers

Thanks in advance.

And finally I want to thank Lead for his hard work. Keep it up m8!

Best regards

Martin

Old hardware versions of K600/K608/V600/W550/W600/W900 are supported without TP. Old HW version of W900 is supported via special trick, I've seen only one such phone in my life, therefore there is no need to explain this in detail.

New hardware versions of K600/K608/V600/W550/W600/W900 are supported via TP only.

The phone firmware has no effect on this.

Just try converting red CID49 to brown CID49.
If it fails, it is new hardware. The phone won't be killed.

So, should one try to unlock RSA first, and then do the "convert to brown", or just start out by doing the "convert to brown"

Just convert to brown. RSA unlock should not be needed.
