--> it's CID49 and RSA was disabled... the only thing at "security" i could do is to change the certificate... but it said "brown" - so I tried to unlock ... and it worked. without unlocking RSA, changing certificate or anything else...

haha... it's fun - could be easy like this everytime if it's up to me...

I've had a few of these now and you don't even need to unlock rsa, i went straight to direct unlock, no certifate change or anything.

All the ones i've seen were from Vodafone. very odd but makes light work of them

So there is no problem to unlock a brown CID 49? I plan to buy a prepaid o2 k750i and want to use it with an o2 postpaid card.

So what i have to do is

attach
"direct unlock"

nothing more? flashing? This would be great...

The reason is, that I dont see any sence for the lock anymore, and i dont see that there is something "bad" i do, because i will also use it with an o2 card.

Only some of them are like this linkinsoldier. The way to see if yours is one of these brown ones is check the colour when you attach, then check if unlock rsa is greyed out when fully attached

If you try direct unlock on the normal CID49 it will just fail and the phone will start up, so you will know for sure anyway

ok, so there are two ways:

CID 49 brown: i just have to do a "direct unlock". No convert, RSA unlock, GDFS flash, ...?

CID 49 red: RSA Unlock, ... standard like evey other CID 49 red ;-)

so, actually there is no problem to unlock my K750i during cruiser, right?
