Member: 57203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 227 | when i got that problem i ever do this ---From cruiser user guide--- Login as an user with administrative rights. · If possible, install the latest Windows XP Service Pack and then restart the computer. · Under Start | Run successively type in and confirm with OK button the following two commands: regsvr32 %windir%\system32\scardssp.dll (You should receive a message that the DLL server was registered successfully) scardsvr reinstall · Locate the scard_xp.reg file and then doubleclick on it. The registry will be updated. DO NOT DO THIS UNDER WINDOWS 2000! You may find the scard_xp.reg file in the "c:\Program Files\Cruiser\SmartCard Diagnostic Tool" folder. · Have a look in Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services and locate the entry Smart Card. Check its current status. If it should not be started, try to start it (click right mouse button, and press Start). · Independently of whether the service can be started or not change the startup type from Manual to Automatic. · Restart the computer. |
