I ask because firstly i'm nosey and just wanna know, and secondly because just having software than can do it is an offence in some countries like Sweden, England and a few others. Will the team be Releasing an Cruiser version of Interceptor for those countries. |

Member: 73743 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | @pobolius Just a quick query, i live in UK and have always had Fighter not Interceptor and now i have cruiser. The Law contains a massive grey area in the UK. I was speaking to my brother in law a while ago, who is a lawyer, and he said that under an act passed in 2002 it doesnt actually say owning the tool is illegal. its only illegal if it has no option to disable the imei change feature and if it is sold with the intent of changing the imei. confused, i am. i guess interceptor is just a safe way of distributing the product. have a look |

Member: 42570 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | Interesting: Q:If a dealer sells SIM unlocking equipment, which has included within it an IMEI alteration facility that cannot be disabled, can the equipment be legitimately sold together with a warning to the customer that IMEI reprogramming is illegal (for example by issuing the Home Office leaflet)? A:Yes. Supplying/possessing the equipment is only illegal if there is an intent to use the equipment for an unlawful purpose (i.e. reprogramming IMEI numbers). It would seem if you install Fighter/Cruiser and remove the registry entry that allows you to change IMEI, you're probably OK. I am not a lawyer though |

Member: 30157 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Well i know of some people who had their Fighter and their Griffin confiscated by the police only to have them returned later, i think it's a case of there being a law but the police have no real idea what can do what. |

Member: 21920 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | setool2 is the_laser's server. You can buy credits from www.unlocker.ru but this is not an advertisement for this product. I am just telling you that they have this solution, so if bandlock is possible then IMEI change should be too by Lead's logic. |

Member: 83 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | I hope in near future no software will have ability to change imei numbers. Bandlock, etc are easier than imei change and i still think most imei changes are made for criminal purposes. |
