P910i can`t find network - GSM-Forum

Need some help here..

Have revieved a dead P910i that have been flashed with another tool,i use V6.10 and i have flashed this files.

1.P910i_Phone_CXC162042_R4E001.AVR.flp
2.P910i_Symbian_Standard_CXC162041_R5B01.PDA.flp
3.P910i_Nordic_CDA162005-1_R5A02.PDA.flp

The phone start up ok but can`t connect to eny network..

Some one that have a idea how to fix this and maby whats wrong so i know for the future use if a get my hands on a similar phone with this problems.

Hi try just flash avr only ...........................

Check your emei numbers are same if not same rewrite emei number and write gdfs

The phone have the right IMEI...

But wrong when i write gdfs..

Have looked after the IMEI tab but can`t find it, have done a full install of V6.10 but don`t have this...

Now i`m confused

you have legal version installed so reinstall and tick IDENTITY CHANGE SUPPORT during set up, this version will enable emei rebuild, to rebuild emei, however up to and including p910i emei number can be rebuilt using secrity tab, - rewrite emei as phone emei - directly write to gdfs box ticked this will rebuild emei - click create security zone 1 job done

@pele: It's not the IMEI Tab you want, you want to go to the Security I zone and click on "Rebuild Security Zone I" - the same way you would unlock almost any AVR based phone.

Did get it to work and tryed to change IMEI and GDFS flashed.
The phone gets signal then it getting lesser and lesser and end up with no network..

But thanks to all that comes up with ideas to help me out.
