Problem with P900 - GSM-Forum

Hi,
Just got a used p900 that had a glass of water over it. When power on the phone, the display lightens and nothing more happends.
When I connect the phone to cruiser, and click "attach to phone", the phone starts up normaly and is apparently working perfekt.

I would like to flash new sw into it, but everytime I push the "attach to phone" button, the phone starts up.

Do I need to use TP to be able to boot it up with cruiser ?

Phone starting up when it should be booting indicates problems with the connector or your cable.
Seeing as how you've said it had a glass of water tipped on it, I'd be looking at the connector.

Open the phone and check the connector for corrosion/damage etc. Once you've fixed that problem, I'd also be looking at the battery as being faulty based on what you'd said.
