T68m gdfs imei FFFFFF-FF-FFFFFF. Help! - GSM-Forum

I have T68m & it shows GDFS imei FFFFFF-FF-FFFFFF. When i try to write security 1, after 1 hour at 100% it give me Update Fail. Phone is dead. What can i do?

Seem like your phone's OTP area is not programmed. May be this is blank PCB, or flash chip is destroyed.

Anyway, try to write Patched flash into phone, change IMEI and Rebuild/Recreate GDFS (unfortunately, I have no Fighter, so, I can't tell what options to use).

@Racer!

1.Attach phone
2. Create security I zone ( with correct imei) and choose write otp and gdfs area
3. Flash avr with normal flash ( from support zone)
4. flash arm!

That is it!

Hello.
I think these flashes must be in Fighter support area (I suppose you have Fighter, because your post in Fighter support area).

If not, you can use cracked DIV 8.2 and Patched flashes. It works with Terminator dongle. Last tme I downloaded them from www.cellular-support.com. After flashing just change IMEI with DIV and Rebuild CRCs if needed.

i had the same prob... tried every thing as mention above...
but the phone is still dead

for T68x u dont need any patched flash, just check phone by reading GDFS if u have gdfs data there, if not upload GDFS from another phone flash avr, arm, make new security zone with new imei, if otp is too empty u can use write too OTP imei and enjoy, another case is when this error is based on faulty flash IC etc...

@krtko.... please can u give some more details.....
in my phone some time the otp gdfs shows the valid iemi... some time 999999999 and... when i rebuild the sec zone 1 it takes too much time and than says fail.. could it be a h/w fault ?...
in another phone i can create the sec zone sucessfully... than i have flashed avr / arm and the phone is still dead

But what is a problem to write IMEI? If after write IMEI is still FF...F, then just change flash IC with new one and reprogram phone. I have maded this on many T68 ...

P.S. OTP IMEI can be the FF...F and phone will work OK, but you MUST have the GDFS imei
