... and probably power on the UC-10 cables (the crocodile connectors) to get the phone to boot.

Put the main board back in hosting "back part" after disambling, then it is easyer to use battery, just put it in phone like normaly.

Don't connect all cables and lighting.
Put main board with metal off and attach.

I use a test point needle and attaching to TP.
Use a sharp needle and spin it between your fingers when you have it in right place, it will make it easier to get contact on TP.
Just take TP away when program tell you to do so.

Depends on if you want a happy *******r or not.
If not don’t attach cables and lighting again.

u said u uesed sharp needle.

actually, does it need to conect with UC-10's GND? or just use it to point the TP?

It needs to connect the TP to a good ground. The metal shielding is a good ground. This is the metal box you took off a lid off to get to the TP.

I do not know why most people here seems to believe that you have to solder a wire to the TP, this risks causing damage to the resistor in many cases, just read here in the forum, and you will see how many has had this issue.

The reason why Nizze tells you to spin the needle is to get a good connection to the TP, the needle will by spinning go through the lacque/glue/wax that is put on some boards over the connections (considering the sharp end of the needle is on the TP). After you are done spinning, start Cruiser, and when it tells you to attach TP, you lean the needle towards the shield (connecting TP to shied) untill Cruiser tells you to remove TP.

Make sure you sand the needle on the part that will connect to the metal shield, since sometimes the "chrome"-layer on a needle can cause bad connections.

Good luck!

Sharp nov 2005 with firmware of jan 2006

@LEAD

A friend of mine had a v703sh japan nov 2005 issue but i was unavailable when she came at the shop so she let other repairshop in the area to unlock it. unluckily, the tech. is not knowledgeable enough to do it properly so the phone blinks at startup. After a month she came to me to unlock it again but already brought to vodafone center in japan and be fixed and found out that firmware is already cid73.

Is it possible that cid73 phones can be unlock via testpoint or
If You Knew somebody at vodafone or whoever their service center have the software or just the unsigned erom counterpart of it so you can update it on cruiser.
