W550i Hold "C" to start? - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I just revived a waterdamaged w550i, not severe damage.
But after unlock and flash the only way to start the phone is by holding button "C" and then press powerbutton at the same time.
The phone starts then normaly and work OK.
If i only press powerbutton the display turns black and nothing more.
Any solution for this?
Another thing is that the camera wont work, but i have read in this forum that if i flash with newer flashfiles in may work.
Camera is totaly dead just jumps back to meny if i try to enable it.

Any idees on the "C" button thing?

i am also facing the same problem with one of my w550
pl some one find solution on this problem , but my handset is not waterdamaged it was working fine and during a call it went off

Try some other firmwares to check configuration may change layouts for u.
+ Water damage = loss of camera quite often in my experience.
quite poss just hardware damage but again worth trying some other firmwares.

did not face this problem b4 but check the charging socket for rust and bad connection.
