I tried this method worked fine for a w550i with white screen.
The only problem i had was that the file restoration button never worked because when i pressed it the phone would turn on and a script error would appear, this is after i have installed the installer for the restoration option.
Nevertheless the phone is unlocked and the screen is fine!

did you got the white screen when you first got the phone? or you got the white screen after you flashed it?

to unlock the phone...this is how i did it...

connect the phone witout TP.
convert to brown
unlock it
done!

I just recived the phone with the white screen, and I trying to bring it back to normal

but is like somehting oimpossible

I've read a few places that this "white screen of death" is a problem with a large number of new SE handsets and that there's no software fix for it.

I'm not sure how true this information is though.

I have fix many white screen phones with another tools, just got cruiser,,, didnt see any solution for that... the process if it helps is: (another tool)

1 eeproom flash
2 main flash
3 fs flash
4 complete
5 rebuild sp
6 rebuild crc
7 unlock

Each one alone... hope helps someone....

after you have done full flash and done complete

try to change the phone back to red that might help
