W600i : Unlock Codes cannot be entered! phone freez!


I am trying to unlock a W600i,
I got the codes using the test point. However, the phone freezes that i cannot enter them!
is there any other way to unlock this phone?

As far as I know, Cruiser 7.10 can't safely help you as direct unlock and convert to brown are not available for the W600i. TBH, the same thing happened to me and I unlocked it directly with USBSmart to fix it!

So you mean we can't unlock W600i with Cruiser yet.

Yes, all (retail) W600i are Red49. It's good to have more than one tool for these situations.

USB Smart also requires the TP solution. I wonder what they coudl do that is differnet ?

Direct unlock - That usually fixes these sorts of problems.

Yes, but as I said, you can't direct unlock a W600i with Cruiser 7.10!!! It asks you to convert to brown which is not an option. Maybe by writing Brown49 EROM.

Yea sorry, I ment whatever the equivilent of "Direct Unlock" is in USB Smart.

"Clear SP Locks" takes care of it. I hope Lead adds a fix to the next version of Cruiser.
