hi guys, I have a w800 here with me which had white blinking screen pb when I got it.

I reflashed it and it got fixed, the next day customer brings it back this time it froze at the sony ericsson screen, I flashed it with the latest flash file R1BA013_Beta. checked the fone for about 4 days no problem. Then customer brings it back 5 days later and it is giving the same problem of white blinking screen.

anyone have any solution for this pb.

Not realy a solution but I have had (possibly still have) this problem.

Don't know why it does this but can guess...

GDFS ~ I think that when the phone access this area or a part of it then this problem arrises.

Such as:

appointments adding or other data of that type

after reset, takes several attempts to complete Setup Wizard

"strange" reboots at unexpected times

I say reboots but this isn't the case as the phone doesn't reboot just white screen and back to standby and network search...

Maybe the "random" restarts are network operator updating IP...

Now I don't know what I've said there but PC's are leased IP's (static) so maybe the phones are also leased an ID of sorts along with the phone number and the network request that or updates it causing this problem...

Only way to test is remove SIM for a week!!!

Sorry, no real solution - maybe a real case for flashing GDFS

(but use the correct method)

forgot to mention that the white screen reboot may happen more often than you think as the phone does return to standby (normal) without user intervention.

I have had one phone like that.
Flashed phone 5 times, always come back with same problem.
It was hardware problems in phone, I sent it to SE service center.
After that phone is working fine.
