W810 Dead after unlock - GSM-Forum

@ cruiser support

1/ I tried to unlock w810 on t-mobile UK swv R4CE012 CID49_RED

- attach phone
- unlock RSA
- direct unlock
- flash restore file for R4CE012 from support site
- Turn phone off

when power on the phone - LCD blinking white

Then I downloaded all flash files from support

W810c_CXC1250317_China_R4CA026_Brown49.cw81sw
W810i_CXC1250324_APAC_R4CA024_Brown49.cw81fs
DB2010_W810_EROMBrown49_signed_by_Brown49.erom4
DB2010_W810_FOTAUserAgent_R3B004_Brown49.erom4

The phone I have is CID49_RED so the question is how to make full flash with the above files from support which are for CID49_BROWN.

When i try to flash erom I get:
Error flashing block at address: 0x44020000
Script error: Flash error [9.52 gamma.75]
(which probably means that the original EROM is now damaged)

Flashing of SW and FS goes fine but it takes ages!!
Phone is dead now.

2/ I tried to unlock W810 on ORANGE UK swv R4CF002 - 1250321_ORANGE_HN
As there is no restore file for 1250321_ORANGE_HN in support site
NOW i have another dead phone

CAN YOU PLEASE provide detailed solution for my problems as probably many more users will have it aswell.

You can't use Generic repair file for T-Mobile or Orange phones.
Sorry, in this case you MUST reflash the phone completely.
That means main FW plus raw FS.

the support area only get R4CA024 ,but the Restoral file are R4CE012,R4CF002and R4CK003,lead said the restoral file must match the coressponding the fw!
So how to solve this problem?

I think W810 R4CK003 is in the support area.
Btw, I am going to update user manual tomorrow.

Can you please clarify how to fix after attemting to flash erom in my case
I already flashed fw+fl but phone still dead

What about my secon w810 on orange. How to fix that one. I have only removed RSA on that one. Now dead

Can you confir that we can fix dead after unlock with full flash with the files in support (china)

but ok... thx man.

we are allowed to flash the brown 49 FS files with the Red 49 MAIN files into the RED 49 phones, just like you told us to do for RED 49 before, aren't we?

please try to find and spend and look on server everything there just spend few min to look and leave mr. lead to make somthing else man he busy u can,t even think how much he busy ask q as important

Found the restore files - for anybodys information they are in where the cruiser installer packages are.

big problem after bad unlock
Please remove battery from the phone...
Remember to restore the main firmware in the end.
Unlocking RSA damages first 128/256KB of main FW in red CID49 phones.
