W810i cid50 flash/unlock problem - GSM-Forum

Hi
can someone please help?
I have a w810i phone to unlock which is cid 50 i have unlocked the RSA but there is no restore file for the version of firmware so i have reflashed the phone several times but cannot find a version that has a restore file cpmpatible with it.
The only one on the support site is R4EA031 red 50 but the FS File is R4ED001 and i havent got a restore file for this so the phone is dead, can anyone please help?

if you dont have a compatible restore you only need flash main instead restore

in your case you must make this

Attach
unlock RSA (log-)
flash main
flash FS(optional)
Direct unlock (PLEASE DONT USE READ CODES)
customize FS(only if you flashed FS)
Shutdown FS or Turn off phone (necesary)

Thanks for the info i always thought you had to flash the Raw fs file at the same time as the main flash to make them match.

I have tried as Badillo says, but sometimes you might get an error on customizing with the w300 CID 50 or the W200 CID 50. And if you disconnect and flash the phone again it is still locked and you lose a credit. I have done the following:

Attach phone
Unlock RSA (log-)
Restore firmwareAttach
unlock RSA (log-)
flash main
Direct unlock
Disconnect

Hope it helps you out.

yes you are right

when you get customize error turn off phone

attach and only customize you dont need to flash again

Hi, R4EA031 and R4ED001 are a matched SW & FW dont know why they are named differently.

i've come across this model today for unlocking. NO option to unlock RSA, can't read codes or anything! any ideas?

Hello I had this problem then i used the usb dku60 cable and rsa was there but wasnt when i used the cruiser cable. Hope tat helps

Maybe you must to use DCU60 cable . (I have the RSA OPTIONS only with this original SE datacable)

for some reason my cruiser can't find the phone when it's plugged into the dcu-60 cable... all the drivers for the phone are installed, but i've never sucessfully connected any phone via dcu-60 cable. the cable works, coz we use it on unibox!

maybe ur phone is cid52 therefor it dont show unlock rsa

no, theres no connection at all with cruiser, only with pc
