W810i shows "Charging error, Stop Charging" and "Charging Alien battery" after flash

Hello.

Customer brought me a CID 49 W810i to unlock and debrand.

Everything went normally except now the battery will not charge on the unit.

When you plug the charger in while the power is off, it shows the message "Charging Error, stop charging".

When you plug the charger with the power on, it shows the message "Charging Alien battery".

I have put another battery (BST-37) in the same phone, and the result is the same. I have put battery from this phone into another W810i and it will charge, so the problem is with the phone unit itself and not the battery.

Could this have been caused by the debranding process (I have debranded many times before without problems)? Or does it seem hardware related.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

you did answer yourself

probably looks like a hardware problem but try to flash full gdfs and then RAW FS, customize, direct unlock, ARM.

If this doesn't solve the problem, it's really a hardware problem..

regards,
Filip

btw: was the phone before debranding alright? Did you try charging?

I just tried to write GDFS, but it does not complete.

Oh, I also forgot to mention - the phone also turns itself off after about 2 minutes of inactivity.

Did you unlock RSA before writing GDFS?

itself off? Must be a GDFS problem.

Filip

Try this GDFS via Flash Main Firmware

C:\Program\Cruiser\Supplementary Files\Full_GDFS\W810\W810i_FullGDFS_version1.cw81s w
C:\Program\Cruiser\Supplementary Files\Full_GDFS\W810\W810i_FullGDFS_version2.cw81s w

do you have USB smart because USB smart is using another access to GDFS.

could be helpful for your phone

Thanks.

I will try these - what are the steps, do I unlock RSA and flash one type and that's it, or are there more steps?

Sorry, I do not understand the last part "ARM part"

I
1 - Connect phone
2 - unlock RSA
3 - flash version 2 of GDFS file
4 - flash FS
5 - customize FS
then?

ARM part = MAIN FW

so:
I
1 - Connect phone
2 - unlock RSA
3 - flash version 2 of GDFS file
4 - flash FS
4a - maybe again unlock RSA
5 - customize FS
6 - MAIN FW
