Thumbs down Vista support

Hello

An update on the vista drivers problem.

I have just contacted my cruiser re seller about vista drivers and he says:

"Get rid of vista, it has very poor comms support, no good for unlocking applications like cruiser, SeTool etc"

So maybe vista drivers will not be available ?
Could someone from cruiser team clarify this ??

Regards, mrmcox

Well, Vista is a pile of poo, but I believe the major problem is that there's no schlumbger Smart Card drivers for Vista. This isn't Lead/Cruiser's fault and there's not a lot they can do about it.

But really, why upgrade from a perfectly working Operating System to one that doesn't work properly and doesn't support a lot of unlocking tools?

If you get really stuck, install something like VMWare and boot into a Virtual WindowsXP.

thanks muppet.

Will try VMware. Can't use virtual pc as vista home doesn't support it. Have re-installed xp on one machine now so I can still use cruiser.

I will post results, once I have tried VMware.

regards, mrmcox
