Lead,

I received today a Z1010 showing 900/1800/1900 (but I think it was only 900/1800). After using customization file (to remove Vodafone crappy) it shows 900/1800MHz...

I thought it was already doing this...

Ohhh, forgot to say... 900/1800/1900 appeared after use of setool (with logs)...

No, Cruiser does not touch the bandlock GDFS variable yet. It is relatively easy, I have everything prepared already.
I could make an .MDC file for that, but I prefer not doing the same thing twice.
So I will rather implement it into Cruiser as soon as possible instead.

Many phone are having this problem(SE z1010, samsung Z105 & D500). Isnt it strange?

hi there,

I am still facing the same problem even after flashing to R1K010 and i am able to see GSM1800 under service menu. I paid someone to flash using SeTool.
Previous firmware R1G007 . Both firmware i could make calls/receive on GSM1800 in certain area . The difference between those 2 firmwares R1K010 is very stable. Other than that GSM1800 remains a msytery.
oh well good luck my friend.

@ruggish,

Ia not just flash R1K1010. If you used setool, you should use a "descustomization" file they have... it's a bit weird as it will shows 900/1800/1900... but works

Someone flash for me .
"descustomization" = GDFS File: z1010_gdfs.rar

You are referring to GDFS right, according to the dude he did not use the GDFS file. But when i check my service menu i did not get the "900/1800/1900" as mention . Just 900/1800 .. Even with 1800 listed i am still unable to receive/make calls in certain area. This raised another funny question , why i am able to make calls at certain area and not at others. According to my provider they are using GSM1800 all they way regardless of location.

Could it be a bug from the firmware not listing GSM1800 ? eventhough it does actually support GSM1800.
