z200 chinese flash question - GSM-Forum

I flashed a z200 with R2D tradition chinese to R4E Z208_Chinese flash and now my phone has R4E tradition chinese.

I have also flashed a z200 with R2D simplify chinese to R4E Chinese flash and phone has now R4E simplify chinese.

Question is, how to flash a phone with tradition chinese to simplify chinese? is there an active button for language change?

For T68 and other SE phones, language is determined by HongKong or China flash files.. but Z200 has only Chinese flash file.

please help, thanks!

no, there isn't.. your Z200 has all chinese? both simplify and tradition?

oh. i misread something i guess. i remember i saw something it said all in 1.. sorry.. i didn't see there is simplified flash in support :-/

hi,my friend
you only need to flash traditional z208 to simple z208 with "Z200_decustomize_v2.58.ARM.flp" in ARM area
then the phone both have trad and simp chinese

hi, I just flashed a Z200 with chinese flash,but I can't see chinese in the language settings. what did I wrong? is there some activation step to do? thanks!

Read Kockoo's post, please.
The languages have to be enabled inside customization data. Flashing itself does not suffice.

yes I did. but I think the step is only for fighter user and not for Tornado user like me. the MCU file I can get from the support page named always .bis
can you kindly give a manuell for how to enable the chinese language using Tornado? thank!
