z520 correct unlocking procedures - GSM-Forum

Hi, i've had 2 ppl bring me a z520 and i wasn't able to unlock any of them. I read the this thread /vbb/showthread...highlight=z520 but i didn't work for me.
The phone is Red CID 36 locked to FIDO Canada.
When I do RSA unlock and direct unlock, it says I need to convert to brown. After I convert to brown, it says can't initialize gdfs when doing direct unlock. When it's either red or brown, i can't flash it either. I'm using the fighter cable for this because it won't connect with dcu 60 cable. If anyone every unlocked one of these, please let me know how you did it.

here's the procedure:

[ --- Attach to Phone --- ]

[ --- Change Certificate Color --- ]

[ --- Attach to Phone --- ]

[ --- Direct Unlock --- ]

[ --- Attach to Phone --- ]

[ --- Change Certificate Color --- ] <<< back to the original Phone color

try it i hope it's can help to you

i just tried it again today, didnt work.
i get one of these phones every month and i can't unlock or flash it
