from my other post:

go to UserCP and their is a option "Edit Avatar" under "Settings & Options" just go there and upload your image.
all the settings can be found in your UserCP.

setting Signatures are not supported in this forum.

users with more than 100 posts can upload an avatar! the maximum pixel size of an avatar is 80x80 pixels! the maximum filesize of an avatar is 20000 bytes!

edit profile picture from here with the maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 24.4 KB
