Spam (the only place where I use this address is in this forum). - GSM-Forum

Hi!

Now and then I get spam on the address that I use on this forum. It's the ONLY place where I use this address, so I know where the spammers have my address from.

Which rules does GSM-Forum have about this? Spamming is illegal, and I haven't asked the spammers to receive their mails (if I had, it wouldn't be spam).

All of the mails is about GSM/mobile stuff, and I'm sure many of the spammers are registered in this forum.

Latest spam is from www.GsmServer.com, and I just forwarded the mail to SpamCop.

Stop spammers!

I´ve the same problem. On all my test-mail-adresses I become this spam.
You can edit your profil to hide your email-adress.
We changed 1-2 months ago something in forum-options, all mail-adresses are hidden after changes.
I know also someone sell mail-adresses from our forum.
We do much in our forum protecting spam.

Sample:

[email protected]

look into source-code, normally you can´t find this mail-adress, only displayed in thread.

The best is forward all this spam-mails to spamcop.

What about writing who is spamming here - so we can tell which people/companies people should NOT buy from (I don't buy from spammers).

I know I can hide my address - but I think the spammers should be banned from the forum anyway. Spam is bad and illegal!

(Just got spam on that address again)
