A2618s backlight problems - GSM-Forum

Keyboard LEDs ligths but not bright as in normal phone,
display LEDs don't light at all!
Only status LED at the top works normal.
I've tried to clean contacts around LCD and on keyboard film, but this doesn't help.

the 26x8s series uses flex conductive paint for connection on lexan film. Try to see where flex conductive paint is broken and repair via jumper of flex conductive paint. You can buy that pen from chemtronics => check out web site www.chemtronics.com
