Infrared soldering

Hello,

Since a while I am repairing iPhone's, I replace iPhone parts that are damaged or not working. I am interested in this repair scene.

In this forum I read alot posts from skilled people that are repairing motherboards of smartphones.
I was wondering how you can replace these little IC's , resistor's and FPC connectors that are stuck on the mainboard of an iPhone??

What kind of tools you guys are using? A solder iron is to big?
I have also read something about an infrared soldering station, is this handy for little mainboards??

I hope someone could give me some handy tips or advice.

Thanks for your reply.
Do you know where I can find more information about this infra-red soldering? Are there any tutorials? I would love to learn more about this.
