Is it possible to connect more cards?

I have got 2 6990 and i'd like to know if it's possible to connect other cards like 5970...2 more maybe.
I'm using win7.

Possible make connection 6xxx family to 6xxx and 5xxx family to 5xxx.
5xxx with 6xxx mixed no possible.

Can you suggest me 6XXX cards that work with win7 and kulakendi?
Without being other 6990.

Yes i understand.My meaning was thta now i have 2 6990 and i want to add other 2 cards but cheaper than 6990 adn i'd like to know which can be used and if i need any special configuration to make them work.

You can add 6970 with dummy vga because you can't crossfire it with 2x6990.Good luck

How many gpus are supported 5 or 6?
I cant connect 5970 with 6990.

You can connect family HD 5... to 5.. and hd 6...to 6.....
also 3 cards all up 6 GPU's

Thats good. I have read few day ago that win (including 7) can handle max 4 GPU. So someone was mystaken.

So i can add one more 6990 or 6970 in win7 without any problem?
Maybe you can add 6 gpu of 59xx but not of 69xx.
