HTC Google G1 or nay htc whit android [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

Hi
I'm trying to unlock HTC Google G1, the bb-box detects the phone but after giving "Unlock" Failed Root I get: Kernel not supported.

You may solucioanr this problem? or you can not unlock this telofono with the bb-box?

Thanks for your help because until now and could not unlock any htc with android.

first of all always use auto detect button, if any model selected, mean phone supported, if no model selected, mean phone not supported.

later if u try unlock and get kernel not supported, this mean u need downgrade ur phone to other version for unlock

Ok thanks and how is the process to downgrade and htc android?

To downgrade / upgrade just download a firmware different from the one phone has. Depending on which package you download you will have to 1) flash from microsd or 2) use the installer and follow instructions.
Now try to find a firmware for your model.
