Hi.

What is CLEAR CID option to HTC Vision ?
Wich is the difference betwen UNLOCK and CLEAR CID ?

in HTC world CID means "Carrier ID"

if CID is closed to (f.ex.) Vofafone UK then you only will be able to flash VODA-UK firmwares
(phone checks cid before start flashing proccess)

to avoid this protection you can unlock CID and your HTC will be flasheable with firmware unbranded or branded to other operator

other way to flash any firmware if you don't want to clear CID is to use gold-card with free tools (goldcard allows you to override cid checking)
