Problem Description:
How to solve error: FAILED TO RUN BOOTLOADER


Reason:
Communication is stopped in middle with handset and UCT Box


Solution:
1. Try to Press and hold the power button untill all process is completed
2. if even this not help then press and hold * key and keep pressed untill all completed.
3. try to un-install and re-install SpreadTrum USB drivers.
4. change com port for spd-to-com,, should always be below 10
5. can be harware problem also,, many users solve this problem by reballing flash chip

Problem Description:
How to solve the error: ERROR: MTK_DA_GET_FAT_INFO_NOT_FOUND


Reason:
UCT Software is not able to read the FAT information from the MTK handset, this is because of un-compatible flash chip or boot type.


Solution:
Try to select Boot "Ver. 3.952" from the options, if even this not works, then try other options one-by-one.

Problem Description:
Error: RXD<>MaxBuffSize, Please close all other program or change baudrate and try again.


Reason:
Software not able to buffer the data


Solution:
Select baud 921600 and try again

Changing baudrate...
Failed to set baudrate...


Reason:
Usually driver problem. Communication between phone and pc is poor.


Solution:
1. Try with option "6600L-USB" or "6600L-COM" and try again.
2. Try to un-install spreadtrum drivers and install again.
3. Try with smaller baudrate.
4. Try with any other computer. Should work
5. if still not solve and handset is dead, can be 99% hardware problem.

Problem Description:
Cannot connect SPD handsets with in-built battery


Solution:
Just press the * and # button on the handset and then press "Start" in UCT Software. All Should be ok now.

Problem Description:

It is sensing the pinout fast...

Reason:
Pinout Finding is correct, but UCT is not able to boot the SpreadTrum handset.


Solution:
1. If your handset have a inbuilt battery then press * and # on the phone and keep them pressed and then try to connect the handset
2. Press and hold 0 and power button on the handset and then try to connect the handset.
3. If above not work, then press and hold * button on the handset and then try to connect the handset.
4. If above not work, then press and hold 0 button on the handset and then try to connect the handset.
5. If you still cannot solve this problem, then try to locate Rx and Tx on the handset and connect using them and select "6600L-COM"

Problem Description:
Cannot enter tracker or cannot boot in meta mode

Reason:
Low power to handset


Solution:
1. Take a power supply or the handset battery and connect it to the + and - of the handset.
2. Connect the ground only (-) from the UCT Box Main cable to the handset, dont connect the positive nide (+).
3. Try now to connect and all should be ok.

Not able to connect handset with CPU 6217


Reason:
Not supported by old boot versions


Solution:
Select Boots: Ver3.848 in the Options and then try again
