how to enter network code (blackberry 9630)
i try MEPPD or MEPD & MEP2 or MEPP2

1. Ensure the SIM Card that came pre-installed in the Blackberry is inserted
2. Go to 'Manage Connections'
3. Click on 'Turn All Connections Off'
4. Go back to 'Options'
5. Click on 'Advanced Options'
6. Click on 'SIM Card'
7. Type 'MEPD' (letters will not appear on-screen but a menu will pop up)
8. Type 'MEP2'
9. You will be prompted to enter the MEP code (Unlock Code)
10. Enter the unlock code (phone will show "code accepted")
11. Reboot the phone
12. Go to Manage connections --> select "restore connections"

Try this will work fine:-

USE MEPPD INSTEAD OF MEPD AND USE MEPP2 INSTEAD OF MEP2


And be sure to hold alt button while entering digit 2 as if you will not press and hold alt button it will be entering alfa instead of numeric.

try this
1. Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card press select.
2. While holding the SHIFT key, type MEPD or (MEPPD for Vodafone Handsets)
3. You should now see the five locking categories listed.
4. While holding the SHIFT KEY, type MEP2 or (MEPP2 for Vodafone handsets)
5. Release the shift key.
6. You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts left)
7. Enter the code
8. Enter Return/Enter
9. The device should then be unlocked

For this model, First, You have to insert a Sim Card

If it's a Sprint 9630 it's probably already unlocked.

Hello Br....

There two main steps to unlock

All the codes are

MEPPD or MEPD & MEP2 or MEPP2

1 is the code of MEPPD or MEPD

2 nd is the code of MEP2 or MEPP2


to do this just go to compos sms and type those letters and conform that appear on the screen correctly If not find the way how to enter that code (MEPPD or MEPD & MEP2 or MEPP2) but U must enter the code as motioned in the FAQ....(eg:like press shift & enter MEPD)

Once the way in the FAQ is Right Ur set must unlock...Other way U can easily identify how to enter those code... (in the SMS)

Read my post carefully and try...If can not yhen post the proble clerly.

I tried to explan as much as I can.

I held the shift key down while entering MEPD and was able to get to the first menu, but I am unable to get to where I enter the code, even while holding the shift key or while entering MEP2 or MEPP2. Can someone please advise me what to do next? Thank you
