For Zenfone 3 Max Retail Mode removal, download software update first then install update after finishing updates, do the code 741603

hi Gilbertz,

all ASUS model Zenfone 3 Max up to new models with demo mode... Make sure the Software is OUTDATED... then you need to UPDATE then after dowloading the file the Phone will automatically Factory Reset...then no more DEMO MODE.

For updated units, do HARD RESET first... once finish do the code 741603 make sure you are connected with WIFI, it prompt you ONLINE DEACTIVATION wait alteast 5 to 15 minutes, then UPDATE SOFTWARE via FOTA...enjoy your deactivated DEMO MODE ASUS

mine says ur machine is running under demo program with asus. if u have to deactivate this demo unit, pls inform ur asus acct manager to do it online for u.
