My Flare wont open anymore, it wont open also in Fastboot Mode or Green Screen Mode (Power + Vol Up) or red screen mode or qpst.... a working cherry mobile should vibrate if you press the power button but mine is totally dead.. the cause of hard brick flare was when i tried upgrading to higher version of rom but it turned out not successfull... i even accidentally formatted all drive in my device so everything was lost...

I want to ask you if your computer can detect your flare if not then i cannot help you. There are many reason why your computer cannot detect your device, one is maybe you are using new version of windows... dont try to detect it using windows 8, use windows 7 or lower... i dont know why but thats what i did... let me know

ehehehe.. What solution do you have? Can you post it in here with some instruction so you can help others with that problem?.... because if you are trying to say because of the operating system that you used , but others try already with different PC and different OS.

Thanks

There is no harm in trying ... I'm not expert on this but when I tried detecting my device on when 8 or 7, it was not detected but when I tried detectiing with windows
Xp, it was detected. After that you have to install the driver in your PC... The most important thing her is to have access to your device so you can bring your device yo qpst mode...your good to go if you can do that. There is an issue detecting it with higher version of windows coz of driver comparability...

Wink

a) soft Brick - Stuck at Samsung Logo
b) Super Brick - Stuck at flashing Factoryfs in ODIN Also called as EMMC Bug....
c) Hard Brick - not booting in recovery, download, no charging battery logo, no power
d) Dead Brick - No charging battery sign also - Mostly -Hard Brick

Mine is not starting in recovery ( green and red screen is not appearing), no qpst or download mode, no battery sign. I dont know what do you call mine. It doesnt matter if soft, hard or dead, all i wanted is to share it to the people who dont know anything about unbricking.

Thank you

I already did, first step is detect your device in your PC then install the appropriate driver for your device.I will post the links on my next post as the forum admin doesn't allow me to post any links as of now.

Hi,
This very simple!

If your devices dead suddenly in flashing/update/root/change imei

You can repair your phone in a seconds!
W/o box,dongle

If your devices dead while charging/games/using wifi/while phone in the table, bag,TOILET BOWL!

99% hardware!

Additional:
QC 9006 is verry simple to repair,
QC 9008 most hard, sometimes verry hard to repair

i'll say it again.........this solution is only for FLARE which die during UPDATE firmware, custom ROM flashing Fails, other tweak related..but most commonly is FORMATING the CP drive while on enter QPST drive that ends up on a DEAD FLARE(No recovery-NO fastboot-NO power-NO charging) it's just a SOFTBRICK..

hope you'll get hands on FLARE that die w/o any reason and try your solution, for me tried it many times but still FLARE is on QC 9008(com)
