my daughter locked me out of my phone and now it asks for my gmail account info, i have entered but still doesnot let me in, i have tried the factory hardlock rest, but the one on here don't seem to work on my phone. Please does any one know what i can do to get back in my phone. thxs.

try this
1. Call yourself from another phone, answer, without hanging up press the home button, then menu button, settings, try to disable pattern-lock

2. Call yourself from another phone, answer, hang-up, directly after hanging up start pressing your buttons like a madman for <30-60 seconds ending with your home button (might take a while to get the timing right). Go into settings and disable pattern-lock

if dont work

Go to How To Set Up ADB/USB Drivers for Android Devices | TheUnlockr and install the SDK as instructed. Once installed you can plug in your galaxy i5500 to your computer. Make sure it's in USB mode by pressing the volume down + the big middle button + the power button. You should see an android bot digging in a yellow triangle. Once everything is good go to command prompt (dos terminal) and type: adb reboot recovery and that should reboot your device into recovery mode. Once you see the triangle with the exclamation mark just press the menu button to begin factory reset.

if still cant do a factory reset

first use odin to update it to 2.2

then use one samsung i9000 one-click root
make sure when you connect the usb to phone select kies option, this will turn on usb debugging if you cant get past the security code or email.

select one click root 2.2
wait....

then you will be in recovery boot screen
select wipe\factory reset
then select reboot now phone

phone will restart and go into recovery again, simply select reboot a second time and you will be good.

Se você não conseguir navegar pelo menu para executar uma reposição de fábrica, você pode seguir os passos descritos abaixo:

1. Desligar o dispositivo. Pressione o botão Power e selecione Desligar . Se o dispositivo não responder à entrada, remover e/ou substituir a bateria.
   
   
2. Deslize o teclado aberto.
   
3. Pressione e segure o botão Power + tecla X simultaneamente até que a tela de recuperação (ponto de exclamação com uma figura android) aparece.
   
4. Teclado deslizante fechado, em seguida, pressione o simultaneamente a tecla de volume up + down .
   
5. Pressione Volume baixo para selecionar apagar os dados / fábrica redefinir a pressionar o botão Power. Utilize as teclas de volume (para cima / para baixo) para selecionar.

its korean phone hope hard reset same procedure try this....



power off the phone, press google switch and power . until you will see triangle on the screen.

press power or search botton you can see reset menu use volume
up or down button, sellect wipe factory reset with search button
choes yes reset all user data all will be done.
