How to play Pokemon Go on PC

Do you want to know how to play Pokemon Go while doing your homework, reports, presentations, etc on your computer? Or do you simply want to monitor your gameplay progress but too lazy to check your phone from time-to-time? If your answer is yes, you’re on the right track. This post will show you two ways on how you can play games on a bigger screen. The first one is through the use of mirroring application while the other is by using emulator. What are you waiting for; it’s time to catch ‘em all.

ApowerMirror: Control Android screen from PC

The first method is by using ApowerMirror. It is a mirroring application which allows casting of your Android and iOS devices on your computer. This can be helpful when you want to stream music, videos, pictures, powerpoint presentations, and games on a wider screen. Obviously, it supports control of android device using your mouse and keyboard. Thus, you can play Pokemon Go on PC without holding your Android. What sets this apart to similar apps is it provides high quality graphics which makes your gaming experience pleasurable. The app works for Windows/Mac and is compatible with Android running 5.0 version and higher. Here’s a simple guide on how to play pokemon Go on PC.
  1. Download and install ApowerMirror on your computer and Android device. Launch the program.
  2. Connect your phone using USB cable. You may also use WiFi to connect but to enable “Control mode from PC”, you need USB cable.
  3. Open Pokemon Go on your device and enjoy playing!

BlueStacks: Run Android games on PC
The second method is by using Android emulators. The most popular among the emulators is BlueStacks. This free software allows Android applications to play on computer, Windows/Mac without the actual Android device present. It has been the choice of many because it supports popular apps like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and many more. Of course, you can play Pokem Go using this one. To know how, refer below for the complete steps
  1. Download and install the latest version of BlueStacks on your computer.
  2. Run BlueStacks and proceed to APK and install KingRoot. Once installed, run it and hit Try it > Fix now.
  3. Restart BlueStacks and go to Settings > Restart Android plugin.
  4. Search for Fake GPS and Lucky Patcher then install it on the software. Restart your Android by going to Settings > Restart Android plugin.
  5. Install Pokemon Go but don’t open it yet. Navigate to Settings > Location > Mode > High Accuracy.
  6. Run Lucky Patcher > Fake GPS > Launch App and then click back arrow. Now, choose your preferred place on the map and then click the orange button.
  7. Now, run Pokemon Go and catch Pokemons.
