Why don't you try resetting the device pattern lock by using the gmail account you have used over the device, I am sure you can use that even if the Wi-FI or data connection is not switched on just put the sim card back in place, switch the device on and once the device switches on try pressing and holding the power button until a popup appears asking you about switching your device off, restart etc, it will have an option to enable the mobile data. Use it to enable the data connection, once the data connection gets enabled use log yourself up to the gmail account over the PC or Laptop. Once logged in search for the Android device manager over the Google, wait for a while until it shows device online. Once the device is online use the unlock option to unlock your device as well as set a new pattern. once done you will be able to use your device back to normal again !
