htc magic hard resetting problem. - GSM-Forum

hi, all

i have one htc magic which is not getting power up.when press power only blue led near the speaker lights up and nothing happens furthur.

i have tried the below mentioned process and was able to power up the phone but when the phone powered up it was showing some user code lock. in order to remove that error i again tried this method to hard reset but now the phone is again in previous condition. please suggest the way out for this problem. i tried the below mentioned solution and was success once but not second time.

1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACK
2. Briefly press the END CALL/POWER button while continuing to pressHOME and BACK buttons.
3. When you see the screen with the 3 Android images, release the HOME and BACK buttons, and then press the TRACKBALL.

pls suggest any other solution.

You are following correct procedure of hard reset.

To reset the HTC Magic phone

1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACK buttons.

2. Briefly press the END CALL/POWER button while continuing to press the HOME and BACK buttons.

3. When you see the screen with the 3 Android images, release the HOME and BACK buttons, and then press the TRACKBALL.
