MTK Scatter emmc Compatibility across devices - GSM-Forum

since it was hard for me to download ROMs for huawei and tecno phones in ma country, i wanted to download it from working phones. but the retrieving tool creates a scatter file with details for the partitions, not their start and length addresses which i need as MTK65xx _scatter_emmc(dot)txt file. BUT i found a scatter file with addresses but from another phone, same board MT6572 but a samsung clone i9082. can i use this scatter file to load back the ROM from tecno and Huawei phones with MT6572 or is there a tool that can generate it.

maybe file addresse and regions are same but rom's are always different

no u can not when u do that ur phone will be dead and u need to partation and fine original file of that phone... then flash if ur preloader is dead u need to open phone and fine vcc and grn point attach then ur phone preloader will be alive and flash . Allah hafeez
